DAILY COGNISANCE:
Leaning on Available Grace
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.
Setting: A small prayer group gathered in a cozy living room with soft lighting. The atmosphere is warm, resonating with hope and faith.
Characters:
Sarah: A weary believer struggling with feelings of inadequacy.
John: A wise mentor offering support.
Maria: A fellow believer full of encouragement.
[Scene opens with Sarah sitting on a couch, looking dejected, while John and Maria sit nearby.]
Sarah: (sighs) I just feel so lost. Every time I try to be better, I fall short. It’s like perfection is just out of reach.
John: (leans closer) Sarah, have you remembered what Hebrews 4:16 tells us? “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Maria: That’s right! God invites us to come to Him just as we are, filled with our struggles. His grace is available to us when we need it the most.
Sarah: (looks up) But how can I be confident when I feel so imperfect?
John: It’s not about perfection; it’s about His mercy. Each time you come to Him, you receive grace to grow. The journey is about leaning on Him and allowing Christ’s work to perfect you.
Maria: Exactly! So, don’t be discouraged. Embrace that grace, and let it transform you from the inside out. You are not defined by your struggles but by His love and sacrifice.
[Sarah begins to smile as realization dawns on her, and the three join hands, closing in prayer.]
John: Let’s pray for the strength to lean on His grace.
[Scene ends with a gentle fade-out as they pray together, reinforcing the message of hope and grace.]
Conclusion:
