DAILY COGNISANCE: The Witness Who Waited – Psalm 25:3 (KJV).

DAILY COGNISANCE:

The Witness Who Waited –

“Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.” Psalm 25:3 (KJV).

Scene: A small café. SARAH, recently restored after a long season of waiting for a job and healing, speaks with her friend DAN, who’s discouraged.

DAN: I prayed and waited, but nothing changed. I’m embarrassed telling people I still trust God.

SARAH (leaning forward): I was there. For months I felt forgotten. Then one morning I woke with peace and a clear small door opened—an offer I didn’t expect, and relationships healed. It wasn’t instant, but I met God in the waiting.

DAN: How did you move from private peace to living it out?

SARAH: I didn’t hide the encounter. I shared it—quietly, honestly—with those who were hurting. Waiting taught me patience and humility. Psalm 25 says those who wait won’t be ashamed. Our honest testimony of what God did in the waiting gives others courage to trust.

DAN (hopeful): So our waiting can become someone else’s encouragement?

SARAH: Exactly. Leverage your encounter—tell what God did, live it steadily—and you’ll help others see that waiting on the Lord is not disgrace but proof of His faithfulness.

Conclusion:
Narrator (Voiceover): If you have waited and met the Lord, don’t shrink back. Use that encounter to encourage others—those who wait on the Lord shall not be put to shame.
