DAILY COGNISANCE:

Unlocking the gifts within you to prosper and bless others –

Matthew 25:14-15

For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability…

Drama Message:

Setting: A small church fellowship hall where a group of believers is gathered for a discussion on personal growth and financial stewardship. The atmosphere is warm and engaging.

Characters:

  • Pastor Daniel – A wise and encouraging leader.
  • Tina – A young woman who feels she has no special talents.
  • Mike – A businessman struggling with self-doubt.
  • Grace – A creative but hesitant artist.
  • Samuel – A retired man who believes he has nothing left to offer.                                                                             [Scene opens with the group seated in a circle. Pastor  stands to address them.]

Pastor Daniel: (smiling) “Friends, today we’re talking about how God has uniquely gifted each of us—not just for our benefit but to create wealth and bless others. Who here feels like they don’t have much to offer?”

[Tina hesitantly raises her hand.]

Tina: “Pastor, I don’t think I have any special talents. I’m just an ordinary person.”

Mike: (nodding) “Same here. I’ve tried business, but nothing seems to work. Maybe I don’t have what it takes.”

Grace: (softly) “I love painting, but I don’t see how that can generate wealth.”

Samuel: (sighing) “At my age, what can I even do?”

Pastor Daniel: (encouragingly) “Let me tell you a story—the Parable of the Talents. A master gave his servants different amounts of money. Two invested and multiplied theirs, but one buried his out of fear. God has given each of us unique gifts—skills, creativity, wisdom—but we must discover and use them!”

Mike: “But what if I fail?”

Pastor Daniel: “Failure is just a step toward success. What if your ‘hidden talent’ is perseverance or problem-solving?”

Grace: “So, my art could actually be a way to prosper?”

Pastor Daniel: “Absolutely! The world needs creativity. Maybe you could sell paintings, teach classes, or design products!”

Samuel: “And what about me? I’m retired.”

Pastor Daniel: “Your life experience is a treasure! You could mentor young people, write a book, or even start a small consultancy.”

Tina: “But I don’t even know what my talent is!”

Pastor Daniel: “Sometimes, it’s hidden because we overlook it. Tina, you’re always organizing things and helping people—maybe event planning or leadership is your gift!”

[The group begins discussing ideas excitedly.]

Mike: “You know, I’ve always been good at fixing things. Maybe I could start a repair business!”

Grace: “And I could sell my artwork online!”

Samuel: “I do have stories to tell… maybe a memoir?”

Pastor Daniel: (smiling) “Now you’re thinking like faithful stewards! God’s gifts aren’t just for us—they’re to create wealth, serve others, and glorify Him!”

[The scene ends with the group praying together, filled with new hope.]

[Screen fades to black with text: “Discover your God-given talents—your wealth is hidden within!”]

[Voiceover:]
“Don’t bury what God has placed in you. Seek, develop, and multiply your talents. Your prosperity starts when you believe in what He has given you!”
